Come See Us
Simonton Bridge Daylily Farm is located at 2300 Simonton Bridge Rd in Watkinsville, Georgia. The farm is a nationally certified AHS Display Garden, where you may view an array of cultivars. Plants are clearly marked with name, hybridizer, year of introduction and plant season.
Simonton Bridge Daylily Farm is open to visitors during bloom season, but please call ahead to make sure (706) 424-1079. Hours of operation are from 8 am to 12 pm and 5pm-7pm June 1 through June 30. (Joann may not be available all those hours, but there’s a plant list, clip boards, scratch paper, order forms, and pens for wish lists.) We are in USDA Zone 7 (Foothills of the Appalachian Mountains: winter temps in mid to low-teens, summer temps in low 100s), so our bloom season generally runs from the third week in May through early July, but peak bloom is usually in early June.
When you visit, please park in the field above the gate and walk down to the garden as there is limited parking below that point, and turning around is difficult. Please close the gate after yourself as the local deer think that daylilies rank very high on the deliciousness scale!
Plants are dug to order, first come, first served, but garden visitors may also choose from many three-gallon pots.
